Practice Areas
Colt practices in the areas of mortgage banking and insurance defense litigation. His mortgage banking practice focuses on lender liability, loan servicing disputes and unfair debt collection defense, while his insurance practice focuses on general liability defense, construction defect claims and transportation. Colt has prior experience handling insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and intellectual property. Colt’s practice also includes the defense of employment and professional liability matters.

Professional Activities
Colt serves as an attorney mentor for the Boyd School of Law student mentoring program. He also volunteers as a judge in moot court competitions and student oral arguments held at the law school as well as high school forensic tournaments.
