Isabella A. Porter is the Chief Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer at District Medical Group (DMG), a not-for-profit entity consisting of over 650 credentialed providers representing all the major medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. Along with managing DMG’s compliance and privacy programs, she administers the organization’s policy and procedure committee as well as its internal audit and eLearning programs. Additionally, Isabella has been published by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and has presented compliance education to various organizations. With over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing effective compliance and privacy programs, she brings a wealth of knowledge on the extensive regulations that govern health care practices. 

Isabella is a licensed attorney in the State of Arizona and is certified in both health care compliance (CHC) and privacy compliance (CHPC). Before beginning her work at DMG in 2015, Isabella was a legal intern at two large health networks in Phoenix and was a Legal Associate in the Office of General Counsel for the Governor’s Office of the State of Arizona. While working under Governor Brewer, Isabella was exposed to pivotal Medicaid expansion and child welfare reform legislation in Arizona, the policies of which influence her work to this day.
